Guppie's NJ Fishing Web - Saturday 12-12-09

Got there before light, the wind wasn't bad and the ocean is like a lake. Lotta birds diving behind the bars and some in closer. That's the good news. Had one little one on for a few seconds on an Ava and that's all I saw. Lotta people plugging their way down the beach but I never saw a pole bent. Went up the beach and tried bait for an hour and didn't even feed the crabs.
The water is cleaning up nicely so maybe this afternoon when the tide comes back in the bait will come closer and bring some fish with it. Don
