Guppie's NJ Fishing Web - A Little Rough This Morning 11-22-09

Got to the beach at 6am this morning. The spots I wanted to fish were already filled in. Headed south till I found some open space. Got four shorts and a 28 1/2 incher.
Didn't do anything on plugs so I used the bait and plug method. Throw out the bait poles and when nothing happens throw out a plug. As soon as the plug hits the water one of the bait poles bends.
Had to leave early but as I drove up the beach I saw quite a few shorts on bait and a couple of keepers. Also saw a few bluefish.
The NE wind has caused a strong north to south current so even bringing in small fish is fun. Don
