Guppie's NJ Fishing Web - Mini Blitz 11-21-09

Drove in at about 6am and went south till I found a spot with no people. We put out bait lines but there were birds beyond the bar. When they looked like they were getting closer I threw an Ava and got a 28 incher on the first cast. Bill threw an ava out and got one too. We pulled in the bait lines and had fish almost every cast for about an hour and a half. Five people in about 200 yards of beach. After they stopped hitting the Avas we put the bait back out and I got two more.
Talking to people up the beach they said the same thing happened in a number of places. Still a ton of sand eels out there so this could happen any time. Don
BTW, It's nice to see Slim Champion back on the beach, Area three just hasn't been the same without him.
