Hi Guys & Gals.
Sorry for the delay, I had to wait for a few friends to call about the beach and fishing conditions.
From what I was told the ocean was rough, not holding with a 8 oz sinker at high tide, some area had grass some areas were OK.
As far as the fishing ,it was not fishable this afternoon from what I was told at high tide, We had rough currents.
yesterday I found out that there were some small cock tail blues caught, mainly North of Gillikins, you had to park at Gillies and walk about 500 yards.
Some small blues were caught by the bathing beach, this was about 3 PM.
After talking to poppy about 2 PM, He decided to hit Gillikins again, He said He drove 3/4 the way south and hit in to the small bluefish, most fish were about 6-10", hey it's a start.
As far as the weather, according to the weather channels, no one knows what's going to happen, I guess we all have to take our chances, Mother nature does what she wants to do and when.
Most of the time when we have storms and rough oceans, as soon as it calms down this time of the year the fish start feeding, We can all hope for a good weekend.
Surfers were out in full force today, they had some decent waves to play with.
Please be careful this weekend with your children in the water, like I said so far we have some nasty currents.
The Best Of Luck To All.
Guppie & Don
