Hi Guys & Gals.
Today: Partly sunny, with a high near 60. North wind between 11 and 14
mph.
Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 39. South wind at 5 mph becoming
west.
Yesterday reports from most anglers were they got skunked.
Lots of skates and sand sharks.
I was told that one angler hooked about a 10 lb. black drum this weekend.
While Our buddy Timmy was driving along Island Beach State Park he witnessed
a nice size striper being caught.
A few days of the south wind we had cooled of the ocean temp to 52 degrees,
which is not bad , but still to cool, a good 55-57 degree water temp will help .
I just don't understand here it is May 18 and the weather is not spring like
weather at all, hopefully this might give us some great fall weather.
We fished Wednesday, Thursday & Friday and had very little luck hooking
up, we went through about a total of 15 dozen of clams, like I said we have many
well fed crabs.
With the gas prices being back up to over $2.19 a gal, we have to slack off
doing much driving on the beach, I'll do my best to get information and reliable
reports out to especially those who have a long drive.
As soon as I can start having yard sales, which I did have one last Saturday
and did well, I can spend more time getting out on the beach driving the 8
miles, between keeping up with this web site and the gas it's been a little
tight.
Friday I slept in the truck for three hours, still not feeling my best, but
every day is getting better.
Mother nature has not be very nice to us lately.
I want to thank some of you loyal anglers for helping my with the heads up on
fishing reports, this not only helps me but it help each and every one who reads
my reports .
BTW, I have been on the phone with Comcast on and off for two months, I am
having a problem sending and receiving mail..
I gave up.
This is a E-Mail I got from them mid April.
Dear
Comcast Customer,
We owe you a big apology. On Saturday, April 4, 2009 we experienced a
significant disruption of our email service. While you may or may not have been
affected, we want to explain what happened.
The problem was caused by a power disruption at one of our datacenters that
affected some of our email servers. Fortunately, this disruption did not affect
your ability to access the Internet and no customer emails were lost. However,
for some customers there was a significant delay in sending and receiving some
email, which has since been resolved. If you're interested in reading more about
the technical issues we faced and the proactive steps we've taken to help ensure
this doesn't happen again, please read the post we have on our corporate blog at
http://www.comcastvoices.com/2009/04/smart-zone-followup.html.
We understand the critical nature of email in most people's lives and deeply
regret the disruption that you may have experienced. This is not the level of
email service we strive to provide, and we are working harder than ever to
improve it going forward.
Thank you for your patience.
Sincerely,
Mitch Bowling
General Manager and Senior Vice President, Online Services

I apologize for the inconvenience for not answering you mail.
I will be heading out this afternoon unless the rain comes, so far it's cold
and damp out.
Friday and yesterday the fog by the ocean was so bad as I was told that you
could not see more then 25 feet from where you were fishing.
Good Luck To All.
Guppie & Don.
