Hi Guys & gals.
we had a decent bite yesterday morning untill the wind picked up, once this happened the fishing turned off.
we spent from 7 AM- 1 PM fishing at island Beach State park, holding with a 8 oz sinker.
Out of 22 poles out we witnessed 1 short bass caught.
The fog came in pretty heavy and it was cold by the water AND IT STARTED TO DRIZZLE A BIT, AFTER SPENDING 6 HOURS FISHING WITH OUT A NIBBLE, Oppp keys locked , We decided to call it a day.
I was told that Striper fishing and a few blues were hitting the back bays.
after going through 4 dozen clams today, we know we have well fed crabs out in our ocean.
Good Luck To All.
We we got over the bridge in to Toms River the sun was shinning and it was about 20 degrees warmer.
