Hi Guys & Gals.
I am still getting some calls from loyal members about the striper fishing, it
seems to be a night bite, still on clams.
Most reports are coming from the Rariton araa and by Oyster Creek.
As always I am hoping to spend lots of time fishing at Island Beach State Park
and as always what I have been doing taking pictures and updating my reports as
much as possible and being on top of any action as possible.
two more days till spring, the weather is starting to look pretty decent.
I wish you all the best of Luck with the 2009 fishing season.
Flounder are being caught at Island Heights, slow which I was told a few
stripers, again this is second hand information, but till flounder season begins
March 23rd these fish must be released till then,12" 10 fish bag limit.
Also some perch are being caught in the Toms River as well.
This is all second hand information, it came from reliable anglers .
As far as the ocean it's still a bit to cold, 43 degrees, maybe another 7
degrees should start some action, again most of these bay Bass are spawners, I
would release these fish, it would be a great thing to do for our childrens
migration.
