Hi Guys & Gals.
I took a ride to Seaside Park just to take the ocean water temperature, wow it dropped to a cold 38 degrees.
I did get a few calls this week, the fishing has slowed down a great deal for the few in between anglers who tried fishing, # 1 it's far to cold to get many anglers out in this blistery cold spell we are having, I can't say I blame them.The only way Don & I will go out there to fish is if the ocean water gets a bit warmer, other then that it's not worth for us to get out there and fish, Bass get sluggish and lazy with cold water conditions, for the most part they will not chase any bait or fast moving lure.
I will not say it's over yet but darn close to it untill we get some nice weather
Two keepers were caught last week, you can count on me, not from the surf, I was told two different stories from a good amount of anglers, some say in the sod banks, I can bet by oyster Creek, just my opinion, all in all these anglers deserved these last two winter keepers.
I will touch base here and there if any conditions change.
