Hi Guys & Gals.
I took a ride with Don to Island Beach State park, BTW, the beach passes are now avaliable at the gate house.$195.00.
Don Fished from Gillikins to about half way down towards the bathing beach, every stop he hooked a striper, all were between 21"-26 1/2, one at 27.9 a hair of being shy of a keeper, all caught on a ava #17 and a black teaser, fished from 12:30 pM - 2:00 PM, in a hour in a half over 12 stripers
It was a bit chilly not so bad, Don fished in his jeans and a sweatshirt, his hands were cold, other then that it was not bad at all out by the ocean.
A few other anglers fishing were as well in to fish.
At times I feel better seeing fish caught and then reporting it, these babies are still here and enough to keep you busy catching and releasing .
