Drove in Gillikins yesterday about 11 am, couldn't believe the number of trucks. I guess everybody wanted to take advantage of a great day. I had to drive pretty far to find an opening. Only fished the end of the out going tide but still got 3 fish, 25 to 27 inches. Saw a lot more caught. A guy next to me had one pole with a mullet rig and landed a nice blue so they're still around.
Going to try this morning with the rest of the retired folks while the rest of you go back to work.
If you plan to fish with clams today, call around to the bait stores, most ran out of clams yesterday. Don
