Drove on to the beach about 6 am, Poppi Bill was pulling in about a 30 incher. I went to the left of him and had a fish on the first pole before I could get the second one out. From there it was non stop. There were some guys plugging to his left but I didn't see anything caught, after awhile they all moved south.
As the tide went out I had little water in front of me so I moved to his left and all hell broke loose. I had to take in one pole because I couldn't keep up with two. I lost count around 30 fish but only one keeper. Bill had 4 keepers(hurt like hell to throw them back, huh Bill)
Talked to a few other people and it seems the fish are up and down the beach, but all on clams.
The water is rough but fishable, might need 8 to 10 ounces in some spots and the wind is north but bearable.
I just hope nobody tells Guppie that I can open my own clams. Don
