Fished Gillikins from 11 am til 3 pm. Got seven fish including a 28 1/2 inch keeper. Poppi Bill fished farther south this morning and got six fish along with a 30 inch keeper. He went back after lunch and got seven more.
The clam to plug ratio is about 20 to 1 although some guys were scoring on plugs. The ones I was watching near me did nothing. Everything I saw was on clams.
The high tide never got up too high and the beach I saw was all passable. Although I did see a few trucks get stuck. The beach is hard packed but the entrances are soft so don't forget to air down. Don
