In spite of the reports I have been getting we decided to take a ride to Island Beach State Park with my grand children, I just bought them a boogie board each, as soon as we got out of the truck the flies were all over us , so we left.
The ocean was flat and clean, no signs of any bait or fish.
This Afternoon: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 86. West wind around 16 mph.
Tonight: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 70. West wind between 8 and 10 mph.
I spoke to a few anglers who fished this morning , they all the said the same it’s been a quiet morning at Island Beach State Park so far .
I wish I could give some more information but that’s’ all I have for now .
ocean Temp dropped to a 57 degree mark.
We just had a small and short sun shower very little rain here in Toms River, right now the sun is out nice and bright , hot and humid, so much for the weather channels again.
By Looking at the weather maps it shows it’s raining here in Toms River ???/
if your heading to IBSP make sure you bring along plenty of bug repellant.
