Hi Guys & Gals.
Yesterday there were not to many fish caught, Why? Most anglers e figured it was low tide and was not worth the stay after looking all morning for birds working or bait to show up.
At low tide in lots of areas you can walk the bar out to cast, there is a big drop, some mighty nice deep water, 5 minutes after fishing in to Gillikins Don Hooked a nice 32.6 “ striper, lost a big runner and I hooked a short.
It’s gorgeous out today, nicer then yesterday.
Right not they are blitzing bluefish in the inlet @ IBSP, these blues have been in and out for the past hour.
Short Bass are being caught at Gillikins now .
We were catching Stripers at dead low tide yesterday on 4 day old clams soaked in Bunker oil. Going fishing will be back .
