Flounder fishing will be here soon, the flounder are here, March 23rd you can target for flounder and keep the keepers.

The bag limit is 10 at 12” or greater.
Just a reminder, blood worms can be costly, if you can get a hold of some nice healthy earth worms they work just as well.

I did get a few reports on birds working a little off shore, out of reach; they can be picking up pieces of clams or what ever is floating out there.

The Ocean hit a 42.2 degrees this morning .

If you want to fish Oyster Creek by the bridge, just remember it has been shoulder to shoulder in one little area.

If you can get your boats out and fish you’ll have a much better chance with out an over crowed area.

You can also try fishing in Island Heights on the bay side, if fishing the on the Toms River for stripers you will need a NJ freshwater fishing license, I have no idea where the cut off is between the river & the bay?

The sun is out here in Toms River looks like it's going to be another decent day today .
