I fished Lavallette yesterday afternoon from about 4:00 till 8:00. I started about top of the high tide, the seas were high and rough. It sure looked fishy. I thought for sure the stripers were behind every big wave. Well...so much for looking fishy. The guy next to me did land two shorts, looked to be 18" or so. An other guy leaving reported that down the beach a way three guys fishing Avas landed a few shorts earlier but that was it.
