Guppie's NJ Fishing Web - Thursday 9-27-07@ 10:40 PM Guppies Late Fishing Report

Hi Guys & Gals.
My morning did not start so well, was not feeling so good, but we decided to take a ride to IBSP about 5 PM, it was quiet a few small bluefish on poppers here and there.
Don’t use metal, you’ll only get sea robins.
We moved from the pocket after fishing for about an hour that was about 5 PM it was completely dead, drove north of the North Jetty, hit a few areas till We found some cock tail, blues.
We fished till well after dark with a few blues hitting yellow poppers right in the wash, it got dark out and we left .
Same as every night for the past two weeks , these bluefish are just chasing small bait up and down the Beach and hitting just before dark.
I was told that mullet hit the pocket in close right after sun up this morning, same with along the beach with small cocktail blues in it .
Lots of good fishing heading this way in the next week.
