Hi Guys & Gals.
Not much going on between 1PM – 4 PM, lots of mullet and adult bunker in the area.
action as always started just before sun down and after dark.
I was told as we headed north of the pocket @ IBSP that albies came through about 6 PM by the North Jetty, We got in to some big blues about 5 PM south of area 7 bluefish ranged from 10-14 lbs again., then it slowed down, as the tide started to drop the smaller bluefish started to hit on metal and poppers in the 3-5 lb Range about 50 feet from the pocket, lasted just before and after dark, We left the fish hitting..
Our great Bob McGinely sr hit a nice bluefish in my opinion it had to be about 12 lbs.
Camper Bill hit in to three Bluefish 10.3 & 10.8 Lbs .
The only thing I can say get out there tomorrow , we had rain fish , adult Bunker and tons of mullet busting water with bluefish on them .
I kept 8 bluefish between 3-5 lbs today, see pictures, marinated them in pineapple teriyaki sauce, they will be sitting for a day, tomorrow night I’ll smoke them, hey They say I can’t smoke ciggs any more might as well try smoking bluefish , LMSAO.
Good Night to all and the Best of Luck to all you grat anglers , we’ll be out at the end of high tide tomorrow morning , It seems like the good fishing starts as the tide is going out . .
Guppie
