Hi Guys & Gals.
Island Beach State Park was pretty much deserted for a Sunday Late morning early afternoon.
The fluke action has picked up a bit , jess a die hard weekend angler scored great with a 20.8 " Fluke caught on the ocean side from the surf, this fluke was weighed in at Grumpys Bait & tackle, NICE FISH JESS>.
For the amount of anglers out some decent surf fluke were being caught .
The Ocean has cleaned up a lot , temperature was 69 degrees.
It seems to be just about an hour or two once the tide starts to drop the fluke action picks up. I heard some real cool Bass rumors this afternoon, as a mater of fact Ifeel a little conflict with some stories , So we are heading back out starting at the Jetty and working North.
If the rumors are true I’ll post it .
Fluke are hitting on peanut bunker good, Grumpys bait shop had some in this morning, I missed a few hits while fishing with clams and I did not see any fish caught from area 7- the North Jetty once the tide dropped , We left the beach about 1 hour before low tide, hopefully we’ll get some action on the incomming tide.
Sorry about all my sluggish reports I spent 75 % of my time in Bed all week , at 5 AM this I woke up sweating, my low grade fever went away and I felt great, speaking to my sister last night , she told me to drink a ton of water and eat bananas, she thinks I was dehydrated a little, what ever it was I did what she said and felt good, I am not a water drinker at all,, if I drink a gallon a month that’s a lot, that’s all going to change , no more iced tea ..LOL.
So Much for big sisters .

No Signs of any bait what so ever, lots of tiny crabs which is good for bottom fishing ,
A full moon, we’ll hears of some good action for sure soon Possible Black drum???? a wild guess.
