Hi Guys & Gals.
I have read this story on Rocky Horrow.
I do have to admit these are some of our finest anglers around who are left to be around hopefully for a long time, They have caught many beautiful fish, putting many countless hours in to the salt water game fishing. Which are well experience anglers and know their stuff, they do their home work, hunt and find the fish, they are all respectable men I have known for years.
I was there the day BRIDGET WENTWORTH from the Star-Ledger Staff was there.
I gave her my opinion on salt water fishing, which was not mentioned.
The thing about most of the old timers that are most deceased who taught some of these anglers the right way to fish, now I feel this should continue, these anglers can take our younger generation out and teach them the right way.
By reading this I hope some of you new Jetty anglers will learn from what was said by these great anglers.
One part I have to disagree with is the cell phone and the internet thing, as {Paul Hartel and most anglers do go on the internet and read new Papers and Magizines and reads a lot of what’s going on and has a cell phone to poass reports on to thier own as well as I do & We all do, Cell Phones and internets will be what it is.
I would say We should all focus on our new generation so they can be great anglers one day when us old timers are gone, they will pass their knowledge on to their children and grand children as well, Life will go on whether we have cell phone, internet or what ever, it is what it is.
As far as Bait & Tackle shops , this is they’re business to pass on fishing reports and it's your job to support their business as well, one hand always helps the other,I call it team work
And as far as my Reports go, I will continue to pass on as much information as possible Till I am no longer around, I want to see our children fishing, not on the streets getting in to trouble, Fishing is a high on life for everyone.
Speaking of fishing it’s a dull day , clouds and fog.
Right now it looks like a down pour here in Toms River any minute, it’s drizzling .
A few anglers were out this morning only to hook up with some searobins, no bluefish so far any way .Till then .
