Hi Guys & Gals ,
Sorry for the delay on my report,
we fished for Stripers and fluke, lots of something small taking our bait, maybe crabs,?
We drove in at area 23 to the north Jetty, drove a little north , wet a few lines for three hours, notta, except for one small skate. We packed it in, left this area drove out to area 7, spoke to many anglers, they all had a great catch with skates, Sea Robins, We saw from a distance one anglers pulling in a decent size fluke from the inlet, he was using live killies He bought at Grumpys Bait & Tackle, Later on Doug said it was measured at 20 ", Um not bad for a dull day.
Holding with 4-5 oz sinker, the ocean was again clean and calm, 67degrees.
I was told that earlier they had some cocktail blues in the inlet by the north jetty for a short time, 2-3 lbs.
Another hear say, Weakfish action has been good in the back of IBSP.
No signs of any bait any where.
South od Atlantic City had a good catch of Bluefish yesterday, hear say, but this information came from a good source, also they had some bunker in this ares .
I'm sorry, I wish I had a more possitive report to give for every one's pleasure, it is what it is !
