Hi Guys & Gals.
Not many anglers fishing the ocean side, Ocean Temperature is still a little to cold, Bass are sluggish in cold water, it’s still 39 degrees from the surf.
Anglers are fishing blood worms and are hooking up with small stripers on the bay side like I said in yesterdays report.
Anglers with kayaks are nailing stripers in the back of IBSP, if you can and you have a boat, I’m sure you’ll hook up this weekend with a possibility of a keeper Bass, and some decent winter flounder.
blood worms will live a week- 10 days if kept properly in your refrigerator , Make sure when you buy some blood worms make sure you get some seaweed along with them, keep then on news paper, if your keeping them for a long time, if the news paper gets to wet, put dry paper back in with the seaweed, before leaving for home with the worms just wet the seaweed in either bay or ocean water.
It’s suppose to be a gorgeous weekend, take advantage of it and take a kid fishing, just dress warm, it’s a bit cooler by the water.
