Hi Guys & Gals.
We fished from 1PM till just after dark from Gillikins – area 6, it was an extremely slow day for stripers, all in all we fished in different locations and caught two stripers and 1 skate.

The Bass bite was extremely slow, many anglers fished this area as well with very few poles bent.
Although I did see three other shorts being caught as well as our Bass.
The ocean was flat and clean, no signs of any bait, no birds working, No fish , I would say for the amount of anglers fishing today maybe 30 stripers were caught from what I was told by other passing anglers who fished the south end of Island Beach and from what I witness from 9 AM till 5 PM .
I am honestly getting ready to pack it in for the most part, we’ll see,
it was real nice out till the wind switched to a south west, the wind picked up the bass turned off all together, notta for three solid hours as we fished in a few different area North of area 7, and it got brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr cold out .

Tomorrow is always another day, we need some waves, tomorrow it’s suppose to be the same a calm ocean?? Bass like rough water.
Out dear friend Timmy Day from Brick fished from Brick Beach ro Seaside and hooked three rats on a school bus Lure and did nothing at IBSP on artificial, he said the Bass were hitting plugs at Brick Beach .
A few anglers fishing with artificial as I was watching did very little as well, one angler stopped at every cut and bar and deep water from Gillikins to area 7 , He stated he hooked one short striper the whole time .
> Till Tomorrow .
Good Night & Good Luck to all..
Guppie & Don
