I have 7 of my fellow anglers out fishing this morning, the ocean has calmed down from yesterday, it’s flat but a little bit of a current, it’s holding with a 5-6 oz sinker easy as I was told .
Lots of Small stripers and a hand full of bluefish were caught early this morning, so for those who might want to just take a chance on hooking up with a challenge of fighting off a bluefish, pick up some frozen bunker and a bait holder rig.

I has a few anglers fishing in Seaside Heights and Seaside Park which now moved to Island Beach because the action was slow there, I just got a call from Ryan, Big Lilfisherman, as He pulled on to Gillikins he saw some rods bent, again, small stripers are just about scattered in many locations, you pick an area to fish and hope, but as I always say, you need to put the time in if you can, be there when and if these bigger Bass come through.

We’ll be heading out before noon but will indeed give an up date before we leave.
