I forgot to mention yesterday as we all know we had some huge bluefish, I just want to remind you all that lots of anglers lost either their lure of bunker snagger by either getting cut off or by the snaps opening up,
I would suggest going to Grumpys Bait & Tackle and picking up what is called a fast link snap, made by , break away tackle, these are great and will not bend or open while bringing in one of these monster bluefish, not to mention losing a $7.00-$19.00 lure or a bunker snagger..

Yesterday Don took along his 5’ rod which had 8 lb test on it just to play with the small stripers, to his surprise he hooked a nice 11.6 lb bluefish, Nice work Don, don’t horse these fish in,take your time and enjoy every minute while you can.
