Hi Guys & Gals.
This morning just before day light, some bluefish were caught I the pocket.
Not many anglers were out there at all, as soon as the sun came up the fishing turned off.
I have 8 E-mails from anglers complaining about mullet netter in the pocket, I can not and don’t have the time to post every one, but I can tell you all, there is nothing we can do about these netters, they do have the right to net mullets and fish in this area, I’m sure they have a commercial license, the only thing I can say is continue to plug or put your lines out or move up the beach, sad to say but to avoid any arguments do that, move else where.
Lots of different kinds of bait have been seen in this area, schools of rain fish, peanut bunker, mullet and a ton of small snappers, this is typical for this time of the year.
Stripers are being caught just before sun up in Manasquan area.
Lots of Bait Heading this way , school after schools ..
Because of the tides we have this week their not good for afternoon fishing, it seems like just before dark the fishing turns on, maybe the fish are shy who knows .. Lol, but with all this bait around you’ll never know when or where fish will start busting in the suds.
Many of times in the fall for many years we had bass and bluefish blitz’s at dead low tide.
It’s obvious some of you have to work for a living, and can not be at the beach putting many hours in to fishing and as much as you would like to , this I believe, hoping to be there at the right time , right place, Don & I as well as many anglers are fortunate enough to have this opportunity to be there, that’s why I go as much as I have been to pass along hopefully positive reports.
> Lots of fish busting water off shore all the way from Manasquan – IBSP, Way out of reach, but like I said you’ll never know when these fish are going to come close to the suds, right now lots of bait is hugging along the shore line close in, I think I would do the same if I had these monster blues chasing me Till then

This item that is avalible in many marine and Tackle shops , when fishing on the Jettys in rough water, or a North Eastern, you should honestly think about wearing one of these items., not carrying it , I mean wearing it, it can save your life ..
