First of all I would like to make a correction, my Cousin Frankie Perna from Belleville did do well on the casino fishing pier Sunday, he hooked lots of nice bluefish., Sorry cuz, I have been messing up a little . LOL View picture in my gallery
We fished from 1pm till 7 pm, not even a nibble,At 2 AM this morning one bass was caught a little north of the North Jetty at Island Beach State Park.
I could just smell that bunker smell coming off the ocean, it was mighty strong, no signs of any bait fish what so ever.
it was just gorgeous out by the ocean, lots of anglers came on to Gillikins after 5 PM, with no fish, some were plugging some were bait fishing . maybe tomorrow, we’ll see. I was throwing an Hopkins with a buck tail a few swimming plugs and a pink-Fin-S with a lead. Sorry guys & Gals I was wrong about thinking it might be a good day, it was in plain English a dead sea.
