Beautiful day at the beach, sun's out, 54 degrees and light west wind.
Every day I start at Gillikins and lately haven't found any fish till I was south of A7. So today I decided to go in at 7 and work south. It was no joy driving the beach at high tide. Got where I wanted to fish and didn't get the first fish till 8:30. (So much for getting up at 4) The guys who plug the hole north of me all showed up but I only saw three fish caught before they all headed south. I only got three shorts and decided to go south, picked up two more then gave up.
Since it was still early I decided to drive up the beach, that's when I found out the main concentration of fish were north of 7. Saw some people I know into fish but no place to park and too far to walk. Went up a little farther and threw an Ava and got a fish on the first cast. moved up and got a couple more then nothing but hits without hooking any.
Talked to the people later and found they had had them all morning. No keepers just a lot of fish. Don
