 Hi Guys & Gals.
We fished the inlet yesterday at Island Beach State Park, the fluke fishing was non stop, a good number of keepers were caught, lots of shorts ranging from 14"-17 3/4 ", We came home with another keeper which was giving to me by Frankie Dombroskie, a nice fat 19.4 " keeper.
As far as any action from the surf from what I was told by a hand full of anglers it was quiet.
We did see some fish busting water south of area 23 a few times, as always they were just out of reach.
it's this time of the year when any thing can happen at any giving time.
Last year we had good Bluefish action on August 25.
We will be heading out in a short time, I will do my best to give you all a heads up for the weekend. Tomorrow and Friday I will not be able to go to the beach, if Don feels like going he might take a ride, I have company coming and Friday I have a Docs Appointment.
I am recommending fishing for fluke this week and weekend.
