Hi Guys & Gals.
Right now we have a light drizzle here in Toms River, it's hazy, cloudy out
here, so far it does not look like a promising day.
Please for every one's safety, stay out of the ocean, we have strong
currents, rough seas.
I did get a few calls from Island Beach State park, I was told that there is
a lot of beach erosion, at high tide the water was up to the dunes, if your
heading out to IBSP, expect to get stuck there till the tide drops , in fact I
would wait for the tide to drop before you head out.
I was told that all along the shore line we have many surfers enjoying this
weather and high waves.
Not holding with a 10 oz sinker now .
We have 6 foot swells pounding the shoreline, extremely high tides, strong
currents.
The only way you might hook up with a fish is throwing a heavy sinker
and knocking it out, it may wash in to shore if your lucky.
Jess said he'll try to get some pictures of the pounding surf for me to
post, if not Don & I will take a ride later on.
If nothing else, these rough seas might open some nice cuts and holes for
surf anglers, We did need a storm to change the ocean, lately we had lots of
sand bars which prevented the fish from coming in close
Good Luck To All.
Guppie & Don.
