 Hi Guys & Gals.
Two morning in a row we hit Island Beach State Park, drove from Gillikins to
the North jetty.
not much of any thing going on, birds working beyond reach, lots of bait but absolutely
no fish at all.
We came to a conclusion this morning after watching the bait, casting
in to it as it came in close with small fish breaking, what we have mixed up
with rain fish are a few snapper blues and a lot of hickory shad, this is a
fact.
We spoke to many anglers yesterday, watched some fish their little tails off
in to the bait, we did not see any fish caught.
The wind is blowing about 15-20 South west, the sand is kind of sand blasting
your trucks today, not a great day for bathers.
Island Beach was dead this morning, about 8 trucks on the whole beach.
Along side of the road we have ocean county sheriffs department, state
police, local police and rangers covering from the road side to the dunes, a few
weeks ago a lady with Alzheimer's went astray, with the hopes they might find
her, we all the possibility of finding this dear old lady a live is slim.
There are many people combing the whole beach area.
If any one has any information that they might have seen a elderly
woman walking along side of the road at Island Beach about two weeks ago,
please contact the state police or ant local police department, any lead might
help.
We all just hope and pray for her and the family either way they will find
her and put this horrible thing to rest.
Good Luck to all.
Guppie & Don
