Hi Guys & Gals.
We hit Island Beach State Park about 11 AM this morning , Drove on to
Gillikins and saw some pods of Bunker, no fish on them.
We drove to area 7, bunker was spread out in many areas.
At times we did get report that small blues came in close to the suds by very
reliable anglers, which lasted for a short time, maybe the anglers that
were at the right place at the right time might have been lucky enough to
get one bluefish .
About We drove to the inlet, from what I was told one cock tail blue was
caught.
Fluke action has been getting better on the north Jetty, both on the inlet
side and the ocean side, most are throw backs .
On the way out to the inlet we decided to drive out at area 7, this was about
3 PM, we were lucky enough to catch about 5 Dolphins right in between the first
two waves.
I did get a few pictures they were moving south fast.
about 3:30 PM some blues came in close to the suds again, again,, We just
missed the action.
We had a few rain showers, not enough to leave the beach, they lasted a short
time .
As soon as the tide went out , the schools of bunker went out with it
No Bunker to be seen from 4 3 PM till 4:30 PM from the inlet all the way to
Gillikins.
Good Luck To All.
Guppie & Don.
