Hi Guys & Gals.
yesterday the striper fishing turned on real good from sea to surf.
As i saw yesterday all fish were caught on either clams or fresh bunker.
I do have a few pictures to post, it takes time , it's not the time it's how I feel sitting for a long period of time.
Just before Easter Sunday I had surgery on my leg, a small mass was removed due to complications this Tuesday I have to go back in for more surgery. I will post all pictures some time today . Paco landed a nice 32" striper on a Grump'y clam at island Beach State Park , When Don & Timmy hooked up with shorts.
The fishing seemed to have turned on at about 1 pm and lasted till about 4 PM., for all this is worth.,
Holding with a 6-8 oz sinker yesterday .
These fish are moving from hole to hole or openings to openings, I notice on some one's report just because they saw us hooking up a few fish they stated at the Judges shack, LMAO, you must move and look for spots, at times it's good there like many other places at times we got ZAPPED.
I recommend any one posting spots just because they were told a few fish were caught in one area to get their buts out and try fishing instead of hear say .
We fished 4 areas and caught fish at three yesterday.
Fish were caught from Gillikins to area 23..
If any one wants to know where the fish are ask the old Grump, ( He'll say in the ocean.
Gumpy's bait shop just got in a load of fresh Bunker and Clams, oh BTW, all these fish were caught on the old Grumps FRESH & Clean clams and Bunker.
We will be heading out and I will give a full reports from now till the weekend .
Right now North of Bayhead just a little off shore there are tons of big Bass feeding on bunker heading south, with the hopes we'll have all hell break lose some where along the Jersey shore line .
Boaters are having a field day.
Good Luck To All.
Guppie & Don.
