Hi Guys & Gals.
I did get a few calls from Island Beach State Park, the fog has set in
pretty much heavy, you can't see beyond 30".
So not many anglers can see what's going on either north or south of of them.
I did speak to a few anglers who fished from 2 PM - Just a few minutes
ago, they fished clams , holding with a 6-8 oz sinker a bit of a current, a
light East wind.
No good reports yet a few skates here & there..
The ocean temp did go up to 49 degrees today, that's pretty good , like I
always say a east wind will warm up the ocean, lets hope it stays east for
a few days, now all we need is for these stripers who have buns in the oven
(spawning )to drop their little buns and go looking for food.
It's now a matter of days for action to happen, east winds and temps in the
mid to low 50 or higher should start some bluefish action in the inlets I hope.
I will keep you informed as soon as I see or hear of any beach action, We all
know fishing the bay side is productive, maybe a stray striper here and there
along the beach.
The best of Luck to all.
Guppie & Don
