 Hi Guys & Gals.
Looks like some real slow action on the beach, from what I was told a few shorts here and there.
Lots of lots of gannets diving in different areas on the Bay side , these gannets
usually feed on bunker.
I was told that most striper action is going on in channels, creeks, sod banks( back waters meaning the bay side .
It's raw and cold and rain today out by the ocean today and in land, looks like the ocean has got a bit dirty.
I was also told by a few great anglers , skates are being caught and stealing the clam bait.
I was told in Laurence Harbor last week short bass were caught 18"-21".
Right now the bay is loading up with bunker, as soon as the ocean warms up which can be another week or two we should start seeing these bunker moving out in to the ocean, hopefully the stripers that are spawning in the bay will follow them.
Trust me most striper action is going on in the bay.??
Flounder fishing is Ok, I think the weather is turning lots of anglers away.
we need some nice 65 degree air temps to get anglers out.
BTW, We just bought flounder @ $2.99 lb at shop rite???

Wednesday: Periods of rain or drizzle before 1pm, Then showers likely after 1pm. High near 49. Breezy, with a east wind between 18 and 21 mph.
I would stick to fishing in the bays, rivers , channels, creeks try behind Island Beach State park, ????
Island Heights, the bridge by going in to Seaside Park, & pelican Island for good striper action..???
