Hi Guys & Gals. Welcome back to Guppies daily fishing reports. It's been a long boring winter for most of us, lets hope for some mild weather.
A good amount of anglers have been fishing north of the Ocean County area
on the bay side and getting Bass up to 24" as I was told by a few die hard reliable anglers. Ocean temperatures are up to 43 degrees this afternoon. The ocean was calm and pretty clean today
Also at Oyster Creek some stripers were seen and shorts being caught, BTW these stripers being caught north of the Seaside park area are being caught on clams as I was told.
Once the weather warms up a little more Don & I will be checking out fishing areas, looking for good fishing spots and cuts at low tide and will keep you all posted, unless we have a heavy N- eastern.
There has been a good amount of seals seen sun bathing along the shore line, we saw three this season, as soon as We got close to the cutie it took off quick flapping back in the ocean. I am hoping to see most of our anglers on the beach soon.. Some anglers are saying they were getting taps while surf fishing in this area, this can be herring????
The best of Luck To All. Guppie & Don
