Hi Guys & Gals. This morning Don & I fished from Gillikins all the way to the North Jetty, the ocean was as calm as can be, I wore a sweat shirt and Sweat pants, that's all you needed today. Thje sun was in and out, clouds and sun from 11 AM - 3 Pm. We tried fishing every cut and hole, not even a bump, I spoke to a few other anglers ken the Pumber as well , notta, in my opinion I would say it's over , like I said maybe if the ocean warms up, a few North East winds we might get another crack on the Stripers??. Speaking of the wind, The weather channels are saying 10-15 west, the wind was N-West at about maybe 5.
I took the ocean temp from the surf it was reading 36 degrees.
While driving over the bay we did see lots of ice, so we all know the bay temperature has to be at least 28 degrees in order for salt water to freeze up.
As always I will continue to try my best to keep information going.
If you like just taking a ride to the beach for the view, today was the perfect day.
Lots of Ducks in the water. Please continue to view this link I have for seaside heights, the web can runs all day and night. The ocean was as clean as it can be, no signs of any fish or bait. Good Luck To All. Guppie & Don
My member, sponser and friend Sand Spike Bill Stopped by the house to visit with Don & I, He gave me this link to share with all my members, If you go to the left hand side of the main page on this web site, not my web, look for New Jersey, there are many of links to surf cams you can view, these cams are going on constantly through out the day, the Seaside area , Casino Pier, Manasquan, Belmar, These three web cams are now working, once the fishing season starts more cams will be avalible, it'll give you all up to the minute beach conditions and much more.
Please enjoy this web site, in my opinion I think we'll all benefit and enjoy this site now and this coming spring when fishing season starts again.
PS Thank you Bill for this link.
