I fished from first light till 1 pm. Started at Gillikens, caught a couple fish then started down the beach. Every place I stopped there were fish. You'd get 2 or 3 and then it would shut off and have to move again. Didn't seem to matter how the water was, in a hole or in the trough in front of a bar. There was a strong current early from south to north, was barely holding with 10 ounces but as the tide dropped the current died down. Only problem there is with no current the crabs came out to eat. If you could keep bait on you got fish. Saw quite a few fish caught as I drove and saw one keeper. The water is still a little brown but it didn't seem to bother the bass. Don
