Guppies fishing report Hi Guys I Guys.
We were going to take a ride to IBSP yesterday but a few issues came up at home that had to be taken care of, I had to help make arragments to help get my sons boat out of the water this week.
I did get reports, as Doug said I did not miis much at all, it was kind of quiet.
Lots of small black fish are being caught and released in the in let @ IBSP, some keeper blackfish lots of shorts .
Just before dark two days in a row now I was told that a few anglers took a try for bluefish and they scored.
The crabbing slowed down , again lots of crabs more shorts then keepers.

This is a fact that came from a die hard angler who fishing for fluke given a time and how many day's a week he fishes, at least 5 days a week at least 5 straight hours a day, He is no bragger but fluke is one of his favorites, His ratio on fluke this season is now about 375 fluke, 10 keepers, lots were close to the 18 "in size which He released, this is just @ Island Beach State Park fishing from the surf and the the inlet.

WOW He keeps a log on what He caught each day and the size, so we all know the system is way off on the shortage of fluke , what a pitty and the commicial guys can keep tons of 14" fluke and poor anglers have to release lots of 17.9" fluke each day, I know , I have seen this happen many times.

Today's the weather reports are saying , A high near 75. East wind between 7 and 9 mph.
Tonight: A chance of showers, mainly after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 64. East wind between 3 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%, which I don't think 30 % of rain is a good guess at all.
The ocean temps did drop a little now it's 71 degrees.

With these cold nights I think mullet action will start just on time between Sept 2 - Sept 8th, We might start seeing some small pods in the wash this happens as well.

We'll be heading down today , if I get any reports of any action I will update .
Good Luck To All.
Guppie
