Hi Guys & Gals. Today we fished from 1 pm - at Gillikins, when we left at 6 pm the Bluefish were still biting, it was a great bluefish day, blues up to about 12 lbs, all monster one's, We were to Tired to fish any more. I have some nice pictures to post in a short time.
I recommend using a wire leader, lots of rigs were bitten off today, some anglers had to leave the beach to go back to Grumpys for more rigs, I stopped at Grumpys before going to the beach he sold me a real nice rig with a fish finder and a wire leader with a 8/0 circle hook made by corky, I never lost it till another fish went swimming by and cut my line . Don hooked a 23" striper on a clam and a 10 lb bluefish on a clams all others were caught on bunker chunks . Good Luck To All. Guppie & Don.
