Just a gorgeous day again.
I am real sorry for the late report, While on the beach by the North Jetty, Don Took ill, I had to rush him for fast medical care and leave the beach.
The report was for today a school of bluefish came in to the inlet, it lasted for about ½ hour about 8AM, the fish was busting water 2-4 lb blues, after that it just shut down.
About 2 miles long of bunker were just in and out beyond the beakers from the jetty to about 500 yards north, no fish on them..
As far as 12:30 PM nothing much was going on from area 23 to the pocket.

A few Bluefish on Buck tails were caught on the bay side of IBSP about 1 PM.
As the tide went out the wind turned south and every thing kind of shut down.
I Realized I for got my camera, Camper Bill let me used his, I wanted to catch another shot of the old great gang all together when I noticed Don just did not look right, I gave the camera back to bill in a hurry and we took off real fast, Thank goodness it all turned out OK, Don is resting and hopefully will be back fishing again soon, I have an angel on my shoulders.
A few anglers fished Gillikins from about 6 PM till almost dark, nothing was seen caught at all.
Hopefully something will bust open with these adult bunker around.
A friend of mine got a call from one of his buddies that was out on his boat in to the bunker and said not a fish on them.
It really does look good, maybe we’ll have some action, can’t blame me for hoping, it’s great to keep faith and hope.
