Hi Guys & Gals.
My dear friend Timmy took a ride to Island Beach state park, he drove from Gillikins to the inlet.
Timmy fished clams with out any luck, he also said the beach was deserted.

The Sand was like a paved road, all drops are all gone, the beach cleaned up rather well.
Any one buying sand worms please check them out before leaving any shop, I was told that they are not that good at all, for a buck a piece you should get some nice healthy worms, Think about using gulp worms for flounder fishing, try a little chum where ever your going to fish.
A can of tuna fish with holes in the can will as well work fine, a old timer told me He uses white fish canned cat food.
You can even chum up some mussels, put it in a old nylon sock of some kind, LoL perhaps your wife’s used old panty hose, cut out the legs tie it in a knot after loading them up with chum, works great.

Today is my 42nd wedding university , my son and his family took us out for dinner and to day was just a VERY busy day for both Don & I.

The ocean temp is up to 45 degrees today, not bad at all, any day guys and gals give it by the 9TH of April we’ll have Striper SOME STRIPER ACTION, (if the weather stays the way it is.)

Timmy said it was perfect Striper water, lots of white water, a nice roll, but no stripers yet, buns have to come out of the over soon.
