Hi Guys & Gals.
We took a chance on fishing Island Beach State Park this after noon from 2 PM – About 4 PM, lots of birds were working off shore, We drove the whole beach Don , Timmy & Card shop stopped at a few cuts fish with artificial with out any luck at all.
A few time it was like seagulls gone wild, just as far as We can see one anglers went through the mess of birds, right away one cast he hooked a nice fat keeper Bass, looked like it had to be at least 20 lbs or better, other then that that’s the only fish we saw the whole 2 hours.
I did get a few calls from Anglers fishing north of Seaside Park, fishing for shorts at one point early this morning did pretty good, nothing but shorts, this ended at about 8 AM .

Just another disappointing day.
I never got out of the truck, I am coming down with a bad chest cold, My luck.
At least I was able to get a decent report.
I did see what looked like herring on a few accassions .
We watch a few guys wading out the sand bars as deep as almost their chests, no luck as well.
To tell you the truth, I think in MHOP it was warmer by the ocean then in land today, the wind was almost nothing.

Just my 2cents, I am beginning to think these big stripers are just passing us by, it can be a short season, but then again, we’ll never know unless we give it a few more tries.
The only thing I can do is wish you anglers who are still giving it a go The Best Of Luck.
