Hi Guys & Gals.
I just returned from Island Beach State Park, lots of bars you can walk on to cast behind them, the ocean is a bit dirty, cold out.
From the North Jetty to area 7 it’s a little slow, North of area 7 you can wade the bars, a good amount of stripers were caught, all shorts, but you must wade the bar.
The tide is running extremely low, it’s good for low tide, this way you have the bars to wade out to get to the deeper water.
North of Seaside Heights the same thing, there is one big huge sand bar, many of Bass are being caught , again most are shorts with some keeper this morning.>
We took a look at this area as well, many anglers are out fishing, many rods bent, like I said all throw backs so far .
I have a few anglers that will be calling me as soon as any thing great happens, your best bet is to Dress extremely warm, waders are a must , a hat and gloves a heavy jacket, thermal undies maybe double socks or wear two pairs, the whole idea is to keep warm and not to get cold..
Winds N-West about 20, a bit brezzy out there , but the wind is behind you not at you face while fishing The Best Of Luck To All You Great Anglers Out There .
