I was on the beach from 2 o clock untill 7:30 tonight.
Threre was bait and bluefish all over the place, birds were working the fish and a lot of people were hooked up, but I didnt see one bass cought. I drove from the pocket to area 21 and I was on the bluefish the entire time. I saw lots of fish but not one bass all day.
This is what realy bothers me you can't get good information or the truth. I drive from Morrisivlle Pa. and I have to believe what ia on the net, but when I am fishing where the storys are coming from and see that it is not the truth this is disheartening .
There was no bait beached and no blitzing fish, there was fish and a lot of fish but not a blitz.
Thanks for your reports I do belive that you try to get the facts.
I also belive that bass could have been cought but like I said I saw not a one.

Thanks for this reply Hutch, But I have to believe Paco that a lot of stripers were caught between 5 & 6 PM last night.
I know area 23 south about half way to the Jetty there was a big bluefish blitz, but these anglers who said no Stripers were caught by the North Jetty and on the Jetty apparently they were not there , I can prove it from the cell call , checking the time I was called about the bluefish blitz, they were so hung up on the bluefish, did not know the stripers were doing the same by the North Jetty.I was told that just before the stripers hit the pocket, the pocket cleared out and all these anglers headed north to get in to the bluefish blitz, the hand full who stayed hooked up with some mighty nice Stripers between 5 PM & 6 PM with in 15 minutes after all anglers headed North.
Thank you for this report, it did answer my question, I'm glad you had a good time fish, We all can't be at the same place at the same time, that's why I rely on reports.
Apparently, a good amount of stripers were weighed in, the Hook House has a 33 lb weighed in, Betty & Nicks had Bass weighed in, Grumpys as well had stripers weighed in, bodies to prove it .
I do believe Pacos report.
