Hi Guys & Gals. This is just a brief late evening update report. I have received several calls that the mullet was so thick in the pocket @ island Beach state Park late this afternoon till dark, a few anglers filled three big tubs with a seine net, every one with a casting net loaded up. Bluefish up to 6 lbs came through the mullet, these blues had the mullet trapped, I don’t know what’s in store for tomorrow, but I would most certainly get out by the ocean and spend a day fishing .
The blues were scattered all over IBSP, Late this afternoon till dark which was much better by the pocket.
This is the time of year after having many cool nights the bait starts moving south, when the fish find the bait they trap the bait, as far as IBSP, these Mullet. Bunker or what ever might be running at the time will just keep going south, then they realize they are trapped by the rocks, the fish will come right in after them and all hell breaks lose. I can lead you guys to the ocean, hope you all enjoy tomorrows gorgeous fall day. The Best Of Luck To All. Guppie
