Hi Guys & Gals. We decided to go to Island Beach State park, drove in to area 7, lots of pods of bait fish were beyound reach, We headed south of 7 saw a few more pods of bait looked like rain fish beyond reach, ended up by the Inlet, saw one netter throw his cast net twice to see about 2 doz of biiiiig mullet which he released. We drove back out about 5 PM, We drove out of 23 and back in to area 7, spoke to a good amount of anglers who all said the same, the bait moved out, fish came in to them a few times but beyond reach. We drove back south by the Inlet again, it was just a bit quiet. I my self did not see any fish caught sad to say. Not a very good report but the best I can do . The ocean was clean and calm, holding with a 4-5 oz sinker, Ocean Temperature was 74 Degrees at 4PM.
Till tomorrow have a good night and good Luck . Guppie
