Hi Guys & Gals.
If your going to head out tonight or tomorrow, the weather was absolutely gorgeous out today nothing but full sun, hot and humid.
Today @ Island Beach they had some cocktail blues at area 7 and area 15, caught on fresh bunker. About 5 PM We had small 1-2 lb blues bust water in the inlet along with albacore.
I had my camera but left the memory card at home, I will be heading out to buy another one after dinner to keep just in case as a spare in my camera bag.
The fluke bite was good a few keepers were caught on the Jetty fishing the pocket. Holding with a 5-6 0z sinker, no flies at all, We had a medium a S East wind . The ocean was clean a bit rough as the tide came in, but completely fishable. A good amount of anglers were fishing, that was nice to see. the Inlet was loaded with spearing as well as the pocket at Island Beach State Park by the North Jetty. The Best of Luck to all.
Guppie PS ! So much for the weather channels , they were most certainley way off today, A few divers were out by the end of the North Jetty by the rips, they said it was loaded with stripers there, they came in with one nice keeper about 31" I would say, They just wanted one for the table. I have a gut feeling tomorrow will be almost as nice as today. I hope this report was helpful to all you anglers out there .
