I did get a few calls a half hour ago.
Bass on the North Jetty, just a little way out, anglers fishing in the pocket from the jetty, a few keepers caught as well on the beach after we left the beach. Another issue, once the pocket by the Noth Jetty on the ocean side filled up with a little water, the fluke action was fantastic, a good amount of keepers were caught .. Stop at grumpys, pick up some 1/2 oz white bucktails & Light Green big gulp worms as well as make sure you bring along bunker snagers 10/0s & 12/0's ( this is the size you do need to snag the adult bunker.
a few anglers had their limits on fluke, Card shop went home with 2 keepers for the table, that's all he wanted, He said when he left the fluke were still biting. The bunker are still passing through occaisonally coming in to the surf I hope this is helpful information for all, BTW, these reports came from extremely reliable friends.
