 Hi Guys & Gals,
No Great action as far as stripers, I do know the boats were having a field day by Seaside Heights with stripers, these stripers were on anchovies, a small fling in Bay head late this afternoon, about 20 big Blues were caught at Gillikins on the out going tide early this afternoon. it lasted for about an hour then it all died down like a light switch A school bus full of children stopped at Grumpys for advice and to buy their bait and supplies what ever they needed to have, he sent them on their way to IBSP, a good amount of kids hooked up, I was told that a young girl caught her first keeper Striper today, Look out Dads, she’s hooked now, I was also told it was going to be weighed in at Grumpys along with the rest of the fish caught by thios team., Nice Work Kids . These Bluefish along with some stripers are in and out of the surf, I just have not been lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time . Nothing in the inlet at Island Beach State Park today, any way when we were there at about 3 PM . One thing I can say if these bluefish chase these anchovies in to the suds it’s going to bust wide open again, lets all hope.
